Annie is a 2014 film based on the musical of the same name. It stars Quvenzhané Wallis in the title role and Jamie Foxx in the role of Will Stacks.

Cast

Quvenzhané Wallis as Annie, the 10-year-old protagonist searching for her parents. Unlike the previous films, Annie is an African American and she lives in a foster home instead of an orphanage.

Jamie Foxx as Will Stacks, an entrepreneur in technology who is running for mayor of New York City. He’s similar to Oliver Warbucks.

Rose Byrne as Grace Farrell, Stack’s personal assistant and love interest who acts as a mother figure to Annie.

Cameron Diaz as Miss Hannigan, the cruel and drunk control freak who runs the foster home. She was also a big singing star in the 90s, but her career was ended due to her going insane after drinking alcohol. Her name is Colleen, instead of previous films with her name being Agatha.

Bobby Cannavale as Guy Danlily, an advisor to Stacks who convinced him to let Annie stay with him for the press, but doesn’t care about Annie herself.

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Nash, a tough but lovable bodyguard and driver for Will, and a good friend to Annie.

David Zayas as Lou, the local conscience store owner who’s a good friend to Annie and has a crush on Miss. Hannigan.

Stephanie Kurtzuba as Mrs. Kovacevi, the New York Family Services worker involved with Annie’s case.

Amanda Troya as Pepper, the bossiest and oldest of the foster girls. She’s about to turn thirteen and thinks that no one will adopt her because she’ll be a teenager.

Eden Duncan-Smith as Isabella, the second oldest of the foster girls.

Zoe Margaret Colletti as Tessie, the second youngest of the foster girls.

Nicolette Pierini as Mia, the youngest of the foster girls. She is similar to Molly.

Marti as Sandy, Annie’s female dog.
